The ProEdit Process
Scientific Translation orders involve several steps. Two translators are assigned to translate the Japanese manuscript into English in a two-stage process. The first translator creates the first draft of English translation, and the second translator checks the English translation. In this second stage, the translator checks for omissions and mistranslations. Additionally, revisions are made to the translation as necessary, when more suitable terms are available, and when the second draft of the English translation is ready. Next, a ProEditor provides scientific editing. Lastly, our Quality Assurance Division performs a quality check, and the final draft of Scientific Translation is ready.

Japanese-English Glossary of Technical Terms
Our translators research technical terms in any given manuscript extensively as they work to translate, but we ask our clients to provide us with a Japanese-English glossary of technical terms as much as possible to ensure higher quality English translations.
