ProEdit Japan offers manuscript preparation support for submission to top international medical journals. We provide support in all aspects of the submission process: editing your manuscript to meet formatting guidelines of your journal of choice, verifying revisions in response to journal editor/referee comments, and evaluating and providing feedback on the presentation of your data. First-time Submissions

ProEdit Japan offers the following options to assist you with preparation for first-time submissions to top international medical journals:

Scientific Commentary

A ProEditor assesses the scientific reporting of your data and clarity of methods, and provides detailed feedback and questions regarding the format and thoroughness of reporting.

Author Guideline Check

A ProEditor checks your manuscript to ensure that it agrees with the specific formatting requirements of the journal to which you intend to submit.

Submission Package

A comprehensive package for Scientific Editing or Scientific Translation most suitable for first-time submission of your manuscript.

Special Offer: We will re-edit any changes you make to your manuscript in accordance to our Scientific Commentary free of charge (35% off the translation price when applied to translation orders).

Word Count Reduction

Many journal guidelines include limits in word count. With this option, a ProEditor will review your manuscript and reduce the word count to meet the requirement without altering the content as much as possible.

Resubmission

ProEdit Japan offers the following options to assist you with preparation for resubmission to top international medical journals:

Resubmission Commentary

This service is for manuscripts that have undergone a peer review and are in the resubmission stage. A ProEditor reviews the comments of the referees and editor, ensures that your revisions sufficiently address the suggested changes, and comments on whether your response letter has adequately addressed all concerns of the referees and editor.

Resubmission Package

This Scientific Editing or Scientific Translation package is suitable for editing your revised manuscript and reply letter for resubmission.

※Manuscripts that selected our First-Time Submission Package at the time of initial submission are eligible for an additional 10% off, for a total of 20% in savings.

※The Resubmission Package is only available for manuscripts that were edited or re-edited by ProEdit Japan.

Word Count Reduction

Many journal guidelines include limits in word count. In addition, some reviewers may demand a reduction in length of the manuscript. This option is suitable if you need an overall check of the manuscript and reduction in word count after making revisions to meet the reviewers’ comments for resubmission.
