Scientific Commentary

ProEdit Japan offers a Scientific Commentary service for medical researchers hoping to receive feedback and criticism on the scientific reporting of their research. A ProEditor assesses the presentation of data and clarity of methods, and provides detailed feedback and questions regarding the format and thoroughness of the scientific reporting. This provides clients an advance insight into the scrutiny a reviewer or journal editor may give their paper, allowing for an opportunity to revise the manuscript before submission. We believe this service improves the reporting of our client’s work and improves the chances of a successful submission.

Scientific Commentary Restrictions

• This service is not a formal peer review.
• This is not a guarantee that a paper revised using our Scientific Commentary as a reference will be accepted by the journal the paper is submitted to.
• This service does not offer criticism on the paper’s research design.
• No opportunities to discuss the Scientific Commentary with a ProEditor will be provided.
• Scientific Commentary is limited to once per manuscript.
