Scientific Editing

With Scientific Editing, your manuscript is assigned to a ProEditor who is familiar with similar methodologies and who can appreciate your field of study. A ProEditor often refers to previous related studies to ensure consistency, and then edits the language of your manuscript to be precise and clear.

The ProEdit Process

With our innovative editing system, a ProEditor advances through the scientific editing process in stages. Editing begins with revisions of grammar and structure, technical term checks, and editing of your article to match the language of scientific papers. After the edited first draft is completed, we once again improve the flow of the writing to confirm readability, and eliminate typographical errors and other mistakes in order to ensure a high level of accuracy in the English document. Finally, following a rigorous quality check by our Quality Assurance Division, we deliver the final version to you, the client.

A ProEditor assesses the scientific reporting of your data and clarity of methods, and provides detailed feedback and questions regarding the format and thoroughness of reporting.

Resubmission Commentary

A ProEditor reviews the editor’s and referee’s comments on your original journal submission, ensures that your revisions and reply letter adequately address the changes suggested by editors and reviewers.

Author Guideline Check

A ProEditor checks your manuscript to ensure that it agrees with the specific formatting requirements of the journal to which you intend to submit.

First-time Submission Package

We offer an editing package that transforms your manuscript into a form suitable for direct submission to a journal. This is our most extensive and popular editing service option available.

General Editing

Our General Editing service is for situations where rigorous scientific writing is not required—for example, in correspondences with editors or other researchers, letters, or grant proposals. In these cases, our editor will revise the letter or rough draft to make the language clear, concise, and grammatically correct, but will not perform a literature search on the topic.
